Welcome to the website for the University Counselling Service.
The University Counselling Service is part of Student Services and our aim is to enable students to achieve their academic and personal goals by providing confidential counselling and support for any difficulties encountered while at UEA.
The Counselling Service also offers a confidential service to staff from all areas of the University who might be looking for assistance with personal or work related problems.
In addition to providing one-to-one counselling, the Counselling Service also offers groupwork and workshops to both students and staff. We work closely with other support services to provide an integrated service depending on the needs of our users.
All provision is delivered in a manner that is sensitive and responsive to diversity and within the context of the University's commitment to Equal Opportunities.
Members of staff at the Counselling Service are involved in counselling education and research and the Counselling Service is closely involved with the Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling at the School of Education and Lifelong Learning, Centre for Counselling Studies.
Please explore the site for more information, useful sources of help and online life skills courses, or contact the Counselling Service reception if you have any questions.
