Introduction to Creative Writing: Writing Poetry (Online)

10 credits at level 1 (FHEQ level 4)

If you think in pictures, in music, like to play with language, this course is for you.  Discover the pleasures of poetry with a published and prize-winning poet. Let words take you for a walk, let them surprise and excite you.

This module is divided into six sections and you can work at your own pace, providing the course is completed within three months.  At the end of each section, you may submit work to your tutor for informal feedback, and to other students via the message board if you wish.  By the end of the course it is hoped that you will have completed 4-6 poems, and a short appraisal of that work, for assessment.
