These very popular online courses at level 1 and 2 give you the opportunity of writing prose fiction and poetry in the comfort of your own home and in your own time.
To do these courses, you must have regular access to a computer that has an internet connection. Once you have enrolled, you will receive further information on how to access the course materials. To apply for these courses, please complete the application form through the individual course web pages. About a month before the course is due to start, you will be sent details of how to access the website.
Please ensure when applying for the online units that you put your correct email address clearly on the application form – this is how you will receive vital pre-course information.
For this reason, we also advise you to add edu.cce.admiss@uea.ac.uk to your email contact list.

Applications are now closed for our online writing courses courses starting this academic year (2011-12).
The programme of courses for 2012/13 is likely to be very similar: take a look around our pages (links on the left) for information, and contact the admissions team if you have any questions, or to register your interest. Courses will finalised and applications open in June/July 2012.
The Level 1 Writing Prose Fiction (online) and Writing Poetry (online) courses are 3 month courses for those who have not studied creative writing before, or for those who have written creatively but would like a more structured approach with feedback from other students and an experienced tutor.
The level 2 Writing More Prose Fiction (online) is a 6 month course intended for those with some experience of writing, or for those who have previously studied creative writing at introductory level.
