The medical services and industry requires new technologies, to assess information objectively. While recent developments in medical engineering have been achieved by state-of-the-art of intelligent computing techniques including developments in computational techniques including nature and biologically inspired ones, information processing and data mining hold new premises in this field. These methods are becoming indispensable for industrial and medical practices.

Special issues Special issues

Apart from publishing the accepted papers in IDEAL 2011 Proceedings by Springer as LNCS series, some papers will be invited to extend their papers for publication in special issues of two international journals:
