A Women in Data Science event is being held at the Isaac Newton Institute (INI) in Cambridge, UK, on Wednesday 7 December within the New Developments in Data Privacy workshop, part of the current INI programme on Data Linkage and Anonymisation.
All women and men who work in the field of data science are invited to apply to attend this event which showcases the work of experts in the field.   

There will be talks by the following: 

  • Prof Sheila Bird (Medical Research Council)
  • Prof Cynthia Dwork (Microsoft Research and Harvard)
  • Prof Yulia Gel (University of Texas at Dallas)
  • Prof Anna Oganian (National Center for Health Statistics)
  • Prof Christina O’Keefe (Commonwealth and Industrial Research Organisation and University of Adelaide)  

There will also be a Panel Session with panellists including: 

  • Prof Sheila Bird (Medical Research Council)
  • Prof Cynthia Dwork (Microsoft Research and Harvard)

  • Dr Carola-Bibiane Schonlieb (Cantab Capital Institute for Mathematics of Information, University of Cambridge)

The fees for attending this event are as follows: Registration fee including lunch, tea/coffee, and a wine reception: £33.
