Introduction to computer security for SMEs

The digital revolution has affected virtually all aspects of our lives and brought many benefits. However, it has also led to new crimes and new ways to commit old crimes. This course is designed to give managers an overview of computer security threats, responses and legislation.

Course Objectives

The course aims to give an overview of computer security and how it impacts business. The key areas impacted will be identified along with the key threats. The areas of computer security will be covered include:

  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

  • Legal, Regulations, Compliance and Investigations

The course will be instructor led and will include a mixture of presentations and demonstrations. The needs of course delegates will be used as a focus for the discussions.

Inreasingly these attackers are technologically well-equipped criminals.
