[MIUA] Fully-funded DPhil (PhD) studentship in Fetal Brain Ultrasound (Oxford, UK)
We are seeking an exceptional UK/EU doctoral (DPhil) candidate to study at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME) at the University of Oxford. The goal of the project is to develop tools to extract diagnostic information from 3D brain volumes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop state-of-art machine learning algorithms to analyse fetal brain ultrasound images. S/he will have the opportunity to work with the largest, ethnically-diverse dataset of fetal ultrasound images, and collaborate with clinicians at the John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford).
This studentship is jointly funded by the EPSRC and the Royal Academy of Engineering. University tuition fees will be covered at the level set for UK/EU students, as are Oxford college fees (c. £7,432 in total, p/a). The successful candidate will receive a stipend of c. £14,553 p/a.
