|Visiting Fellow||G dot Janacek at uea dot ac dot uk||Science 3.04|
He is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and a Chartered Statistician.
Gareth Janacek is part of the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Group
Gareth is a member of the Modeling and Algorithms Group [MAG] within the School of Computing Sciences at UEA and his main interests are:
The Analysis of time series:
He has had a long running interest in time series analysis, current interests include;
Statistical Quality Control:
After spending much time as a guest of the Manufacturing Engineering Department at Warwick he got interested in problems in quality control, in particular SPC.
He has always had a passion for statistical modelling in almost all areas and is evangelical about the use of R for this purpose.
