published in July 2006: "A Bit Level Representation for Time Series Data Mining with Shape Based Similarity" by Anthony~Bagnall, Chotirat Ann Ratanamahatana, Eamonn Keogh, Stefano~Lonardi and Gareth Janacek in Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, Volume 13, Number 1 pages 11-40. This paper made use of early versions of the SCDM toolkit to perform time series data mining July 2006. Read more

Paper accepted for IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation
The SCDM group has had a paper accepted subject to revisions in the IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation. The paper is called "Accuracy-based Learning Classifier System Ensembles with Rule-Sharing" by Larry Bull, Matthew Studley (both at UWE), Anthony Bagnall and Ian Whittley. Read more
