Examples of Computer Graphics Students Work

The following animations and movies of real-time applications have been created by Computer Graphics Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students. These were submitted as pieces of coursework or dissertations on the following topics: Real-time Rendering, Animation, Games Development and OpenGL programming.

This section includes examples of coursework from second year students taking Computer Graphics units. Students gain experience in developing interactive two and three dimensional simulations utilising OpenGL.

Sprogs (FLV)   Vik the viking (FLV)

Shown above are two examples of two dimensional games written in C++ and OpenGL. Please click on either link to play a movie of the simulations.

In the third year, students spend a third of their time working on their final year project. This is often related to research projects. The movie on the left depicts a real-time Car simulation employing physics, which would be beneficial to a variety of applications including games and environment simulation.
