Advanced Graphics Haptics Lab

The advanced graphics and haptics lab is primarily used for graphics rendering and development. The lab is equipped with a mixture of high end Dell Dimension desktops running the latest Xeon processors and 24GB of RAM, and a few Viglen Genie Desktops with i7 processors and 16GB RAM, each PC has a 24inch monitor installed for detailed graphics work.

The lab PCs also have a range of NVIDIA graphics cards installed which includes the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 for CUDA development.

The advanced graphics lab has specific hardware and software which includes – 3D Studio Max, Maya, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and the Adobe Creative Suite. The haptics (force) feedback devices are also installed to every PC in this lab.
