The school has directly funded and competitively funded phd projects.
For directly funded projects, we choose the best applicant for that project. For competitively funded projects, we choose the best applicants over a set of projects. Funding is usually only available for UK and EU applicants. Funding covers all fees and provides a tax free stipend of approximately £14,000 a year.
