Dr Scott Reeves
Scientist and Associate Professor, University of Toronto; Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Interprofessional Care
 

Dr Reeves is a Sociologist who has been undertaking health services and health education research projects for over ten years.  As well as working as the Director of Research at the Centre for Faculty Development, he is also a Scientist at the Keenan Research Centre, Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St Michael's Hospital, a Scientist at the Wilson Centre for Research in Education, Unversity Health Network, and an Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Unversity of Toronto.  His research interests are focussed on exploring and evaluating the processes and outcomes related to interprofessional education and practice.


Dr Reeves visited the Centre for Interprofessional Practice at the University of East Anglia in July 2010.  In addition to meeting with Centre staff, Dr Reeves also spoke to members of the IPL Facilitator Journal Club on the subject of "Key directions for the interprofessional field".

Dr Reeves and Dr Susanne Lindqvist, Centre Director, collaborate on research into key elements of effective interprofessional learning and how facilitation of interprofessional learning is different than/similar to other small group learning.

Dr Lindqvist is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Interprofessional Care, of which Dr Reeves is Editor-in-Chief.
