UEA Students produce winning IPL poster and are co-opted onto CAIPE Board
UEA students produce prize-winning IPL poster
At the Annual General Meeting of CAIPE (Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education) in 2010, researchers and health and social care students from around the country were encouraged to design and submit posters on the theme "Interprofessional Learning and Working".
Delegates at the AGM cast their votes and for the second year running a poster designed and produced by UEA students was nominated as the winner. The winning designers for 2010 were: Emma Rowett (NAM), Jatinder Minhas (MED), Charles Anwuzia-Iwegbo (MED) and Dimple Bhatia (MED). In addition to free student membership of CAIPE, the winners received books and vouchers, and publication of their poster on the CAIPE website and in the CAIPE Bulletin.

The photograph shows Charles, Emma and Jatinder with their winning poster.
UEA MED Students become CAIPE Board Members
Two of the prize-winning design team, Jatinder Minhas and Charles Anwuzia-Iwegbu, have been co-opted as student representatives onto the Board of CAIPE. Charles and Jatinder will have many opportunities to increase understanding and promotion of Interprofessional working and learning both nationally and internationally, and their appointment signficantly raises the profile of UEA in this important area.
Winning Poster accepted for EIPEN* 2011, Ghent
The Centre for Interprofessional Practice is delighted to learn that the winning poster has been accepted for EIPEN* 2011, and Charles Anwuzia-Iwegbu will be travelling to Ghent to present the poster. We congratulate Charles and the other members of the team on the success of their design. In addition to promoting the importance of Interprofessional Learning in health and social care education, Charles's attendance at EIPEN is a wonderful opportunity for Norwich Medical School and UEA to be represented at an international level.* EIPEN (the European Interprofessional Practice and Education Network in health and social care) aims to share and develop effective interprofessional training curricula, methods and materials for improving collaborative practice and multi-agency working in health and social care.
