Leading the way in Interprofessional Education

The Centre for Interprofessional Practice (CIPP) is proud to be at the forefront of interprofessional learning (IPL) for health and social care students

Our Interprofessional Learning (IPL) Programme is constantly being reviewed and developed to provide the best possible interprofessional experience for our health and social care students, with the stated aim of improving patient care.

The UEA model has attracted interest from many organisations and institutions across the world and we have been pleased to welcome visitors from the United Kingdom and overseas who have been keen to see how IPL is delivered at UEA.

Visitors to CIPP have included representatives from:

In addition, institutions from as far afield as the University of Toronto (Canada) and the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) have expressed an interest in using IPL models developed by the CIPP Team at UEA.

Other worldwide connections and collaborations include:

We are delighted that IPL students at the UEA have had great success in representing UEA at CAIPE, producing prize-winning posters and being asked to serve as co-opted members of the CAIPE Board.  To read more about this, go to UEA Students produce winning IPL Poster.

The aim of the Centre for Interprofessional Practice is to continually improve and advance the interprofessional education and training of health and social care students within the UEA and around the world, through co-operation, collaboration and sharing of best practice.
