Marion Houssart, Catholic Lay Chaplain at UEA, is here to:
help you to settle in and find your way around,
provide a 'home from home' in our Catholic community,
offer friendship and support,
listen to your spiritual and religious quests while at UEA,
and offer sacramental preparation if desirable.
Situated at the heart of the campus, the Chaplaincy provides a vibrant space for all members of the University community. You can come here to relax, meet people, enjoy light refreshments, or spend time in public worship or quiet thought. It’s a popular gathering place that welcomes students and staff of any or no faith.
The Chaplaincy Team are always glad to meet students and staff socially and pastorally. All Chaplains offer everyone at UEA a sympathetic ear in total confidence - no need to book an appointment, just pop in. The Roman Catholic chaplaincy is part of the UEA Chaplaincy, which is there for all UEA students and staff - of any or of no faith.
