Prayers

Prayers are held in the Islamic Centre at the University on Fridays at 12.45 pm. 

The Islamic Centre is at the end of Chancellor’s Drive on the edge of the campus, close to the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts.  Details of prayers and other activities at the UEA Islamic Centre and in Norwich can be found on the Islamic Society webpages:

The Islamic Society is part of the Union of Students at the University of East Anglia.

The Quiet Room in the UEA Chaplaincy building, at the centre of the campus, is also available for prayers from 8.45 am - 5 pm, when it is not already in use.  Please ask a member of the Chaplaincy Team for access.
