UEA Careers & Employability plays an important role in developing student employability at UEA, with particular reference to self-awareness, employment awareness, promotion of opportunities and career management skills. C&E services are used by undergraduates, taught postgraduates, research postgraduates and research staff.
Careers & Employability sits within Research & Enterprise (REN) and is divided into the Careers Team and the Student Employability & Enterprise Team (SEED). The Careers Team comprises careers advisers and frontline staff offering careers guidance appointments and careers information. Careers advisers each have responsibility for liaising with particular Schools and there are specialist advisers and resources for research postgraduates, and staff. The SEED Team manages careers events, job vacancies (part-time, graduate, voluntary) and initiatives involving mentoring, internships and student enterprise.
These pages summarise Careers & Employability involvement, ranging from one-to-one advice and guidance to employer events and employability reports for Schools.
