- Cash-in-hand payment arrangements
- Self-employed opportunities
- Posts based in an employer’s own home where a Criminal Records Bureau check would be a requirement
- Website sign-ups (where no specific vacancies are offered)
- Where applicants are charged fees to have access to the opportunities
- Unpaid work experience for commercial organisations (other than short-term work shadowing opportunities or when part of a student’s course of study)
