Phase 2 Research
Four themes were chosen for further research to explore aspects of disaffection that emerged from phase 1. Teachers from a number of schools were involved with a cross-school research co-ordinator and a mentor from the School of Education at UEA in planning and doing the research. On the following pages there are summaries of the cross-school research. Three of these summaries are in the form of abstracts taken from the special edition of the journal Pedagogy, Culture and Society.
