Reporting problems on your route
There are now various ways to report problems online using maps to make it clear exactly where the hazard is. If you prefer to phone, numbers are below. Councillors can also be contacted if you experience delays in getting things fixed.
- Fill That Hole - mark a pothole or other road hazard on the map and this website reports it to the relevant authority. It really works - some holes reported in April '08 were filled within a week. It's for public roads only, so report any UEA problems to Estates (estates.listening2u@uea.ac.uk)
- Clear That Trail - as above and run by the same organisation, but for blockages on public rights of way.
- Fix My Street - similar to the above (run by different people) but for any problems with council services, including lighting, overgrowing vegetation, flytipping, and so on.
- Phone contacts for Norwich City Council:
- CityCare Helpdesk, for
reporting situations such as leaf build-up and bush/tree growth is 0845
6502045.
- Highways Maintenance, who deal with potholes, flooding, defective
streetlights, etc., can be contacted on 01603 212244
- Phone contacts for Norfolk County Council (outside Norwich City Council) - to
report potholes, broken
glass on route, etc.:
- Aylsham 01263 738300 for the northern part of
Norfolk (boundary approx A47)
- Watton 01953 858800 for the southern part.
