Scientists from University of East Anglia join fight against heart disease
Heart researchers at the University of East Anglia have been awarded a prestigious grant of more than £200,000 by the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Dr Samuel Fountain from UEA’s School of Biological Sciences will research the role of immune cells in coronary heart disease.
He said: “We are very pleased to have received this prestigious research award. It’s an exciting project about a major UK health problem.
