BIO Research Colloquium - Friday 8th July
The School of Biological Sciences will hold its annual Colloquium on Friday, July 8 at the Julian Study Centre, where researchers will present their latest work to colleagues and invited guests.
The day will showcase the broad range of multidisciplinary research undertaken in the School over the last year, giving an insight into what the future holds. The talks by senior academics and research staff in combination with poster presentations by BIO PhD students and BIO postdocs will make cutting edge research accessible to a varied audience.
Our guest speaker this year is Professor Neil Hall, the Director of The Earlham Institute, formerly The Genome Analysis Centre. His talk is entitled “Maintaining complexity in a confined space: parasite host evasion via genomic plasticity.”
The event will be held in the Julian Study Centre followed by a social get-together with drinks and nibbles in the BIO Atrium.
Everyone is welcome.
