BIO Research Colloquium - Friday 10th July
The School of Biological Sciences will hold its annual Colloquium on Friday, July 10 at the Julian Study Centre, where researchers will present their latest work to colleagues and invited guests.
The day will showcase the broad range of multidisciplinary research undertaken in the School over the last year, giving an insight into what the future holds. The talks by senior academics and research staff in combination with poster presentations by BIO PhD students and BIO postdocs will make cutting edge research accessible to a varied audience.
Our guest speaker this year is Professor Sir David Baulcombe from the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Cambridge. His talk is entitled “RNA as a mediator of genetic and epigenetic control in plants.”
The event will be held in the Julian Study Centre followed by a social get-together with drinks and nibbles in the BIO Atrium.
Everyone is welcome.
