Postgraduate Open Day to take place this week

A Postgraduate Open Day will be held at the University of East Anglia on Wednesday, November 10, to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to consider studying at postgraduate level.

Visitors will have the chance to find out about the variety of postgraduate courses on offer across four faculties - Science, Health, Arts and Humanities, and Social Sciences.

The Open Day will run from 2pm to 7pm to enable those who are already working or have child care commitments to attend the event in the early evening.

Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the campus and hear more about studying a wide range of subjects. Postgraduate students will also be on hand to talk about studying at UEA, and an information area will give visitors the chance to find out more about courses available, university life, study and the surrounding area.

A welcome talk and presentation about funding opportunities available to finance postgraduate degrees will also take place at 2pm, 3pm and 5pm in the Thomas Paine Study Centre Lecture Theatre.

Head of marketing and admissions, Suzy Gook, said: "We are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to this year's Open Day to see what a wide range of postgraduate courses we have to offer. Whether you are looking to specialise in a subject you are passionate about or to improve your career prospects, the event will give you an opportunity to discuss your plans with our academic and admissions colleagues."

To register for the day and to view a programme please go to the Open Day web page. Visitors are encouraged to register their attendance in advance, or on the day at the Thomas Paine Study Centre foyer
