East Anglia is set to lead the way with a new course exploring the cutting edge of farming techniques in order to feed a rocketing global population.
Launched this September, the University of East Anglia’s MSc in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security will be the first of its kind in the country and comes as a UK government-commissioned report calls for urgent action to avert a global food crisis.
Professor John Turner, an expert in cutting-edge agriculture, believes a world food crisis is almost upon us. But before we all head for the bunker, he does think the farming industry can lead the way in averting it.
