Biotechnology Yes Success for two UEA Teams

Biotechnology YES is a BBSRC organised competition that inspires and equips postgraduate students/postdoctoral scientists with the skills and knowledge needed for the commercialisation of bioscience ideas.

Last Friday two UEA teams, consisting primarily of BIO students entered the competition and presented their biotechnology idea 'Dragons Den' style, at the East of England regional heat. On the final day of a three-day workshop, the teams beat the competition from Cambridge, London, Hertfordshire and Kent, winning both available places of the East of England region for the final to be held in London in December.
