The results from NSS 2010 show that the School of Biological Sciences was ranked at the top of 54 biology departments in the UK. The survey asked final year students for their levels of satisfaction in 22 questions across 7 Themes (Teaching, Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support, Organization and Management, Learning Resources, Personal Development and Overall Satisfaction).
The School was ranked 1st on average across all 7 Themes and on the average of all 22 questions. We ranked 2/54 on Teaching and 3/54 on Overall Satisfaction.
