The School of Biological Sciences runs a wide range of activities for schools, colleges and the general public.

We aim to:

• Promote greater understanding and discussion of science within society
• Support and enhance science teaching in schools with stimulating practical-based laboratory activities
• Provide continuing professional development programmes (CPD) for teachers
• Raise aspirations among school pupils towards higher education
