British Archive for Contemporary Writing

The British Archive for Contemporary Writing is an incredible collection of archives based at UEA.

It includes material from world-renowned writers such as Doris Lessing, Lee Child and JD Salinger, and prize-winning and acclaimed contemporary writers such as Naomi Alderman, Adam Foulds, Charlie Higson and Tash Aw - among many others. With funding from the Mellon Foundation, we developed  a community led  collection of poetry archives Towards a Centre for Contemporary Poetry in the Archive, with poets in residence: Jay Bernard, Anthony Vahni Capildeo, Gail McConnell and Joelle Taylor and Visiting Poetry Fellow, Will Harris.
