Research in the School of Allied Health Professions (AHP) is aligned within multi-professional teams focusing on Rehabilitation and Participation. Within these teams there is particular emphasis on Communication, Restorative Neurology, Musculoskeletal Function, Clinical Exercise Physiology, and the management of Long-term Conditions. Our research has informed the delivery of patient care through clinical guidelines and more widely for example: the World Health Organisation Report on Disability, and the Academy of Medical Sciences Strategic Report on Neurorehabilitation.
