Postgraduate Research Degrees
Opportunities for postgraduate research, leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), are available in a number of areas. The School has particular research strengths in communication, restorative neurology, musculoskeletal function, clinical exercise physiology and the management of long-term conditions. Students are closely supervised by a team of experienced researchers and there are opportunities to interact with other research groups from a wide range of disciplines. Generic skills training is an integral component of all postgraduate research programmes, with students building up a minimum of 30 credits over three years. Students register full-time for three years or part-time for a maximum of six years.
We have a standard online application process that we ask all potential students to use. Please go to the following weblink: http://www.uea.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/apply where you will find the online form and guidance notes.
