Based in award winning, purpose built premises in the heart of campus, AHP provides pre-registration education in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech & Language Therapy, and offers a broad portfolio of post-registration continuing professional development.
The School is committed to evidence-based practice wherein research and practice are integrated through clinical reasoning and reflective practice within a framework for lifelong learning. Currently ranked 6th in the Guardian 2010 University Guide, the School has received the highest grading from QAA Major Review and contributed significantly to the University’s continued success in the National Student Survey and the Faculty’s performance in RAE 2008.
Innovation and interdisciplinarity runs through all School activities, extending beyond education and research into wide enterprise and engagement, incorporating consultancy, community engagement and widening participation.
