Career History

Elena Kulinskaya is Professor in Statistics (Aviva Chair in Statistics) at University of East Anglia. She completed her PhD in 1987 at Vilnius University, Lithuania, after which she worked at a number of Russian academic institutions. In 1992 she moved to Australia, where she was employed as Senior Lecturer at LaTrobe University (Melbourne). In 1998 she moved to UK, where she worked as a Reader in Statistics at the University of Hertfordshire, and as of 2004, as Director of Statistical Advisory Service at Imperial College London. She took up her position at University of East Anglia in 2010.

Academic Background

Elena Kulinskaya received a BSc and MSc in mathematics from Moscow State Lomonosov University, and a PhD in statistics from Vilnius State University in 1987.
