Staying in Norwich this summer?

The application form for summer accommodation in UEA Accommodation is available now. We have a limited number of rooms available for current UEA students who want to stay on in Norwich for the summer period. While we prioritise rooms for students that have an academic need to be here we will consider applications from any current student that wants to stay. Due to the accommodation being used for conferences and some major refurbishment work that needs to be carried out we will not have the full range of room options available for the summer months but we hope that what we can offer will be suitable for you.

We are sorry but we can only offer rooms to current UEA students. We do not offer rooms to students from other Universities or prospective students. If you need to stay at the UEA and are not a student here please contact our Bed and Breakfast department Broadview Lodge on broadviewlodge@uea.ac.uk and they will be able to help you.

We can offer rooms to the following categories of UEA student:
Current UEA Undergraduates
Current UEA Undergraduates graduating in July (2013)
Current UEA Postgraduates already in accommodation
Current UEA Postgraduates not in our accommodation

This application form is not suitable for students coming to the UEA on an INTO pre-sessional course. If you require UEA Accommodation as an INTO student please contact INTO directly for advice on what to do.

Please note that we can only offer bookings for a minimum of two weeks. Any bookings for a shorter period should be directed to Broadview Lodge.

Current UEA Undergraduates

If you are a current UEA Undergraduate and wish to stay over the summer you will have the option of three different licence end dates and two different types of accommodation. Students who currently have a UEA room will be able to begin their new licence on Saturday 15 June (when their current licence ends) and for those that do not already live with us you can ask for a room from Monday 17 June. We will try give you a room from the date you request but this may not always be possible. Moving in dates will be between Monday to Friday, there are no staff available at weekends to give you your keys.

You can select one of these three end dates:

Monday 1 July
Monday 5 August
Sunday 1 September

You will have three options of accommodation types:

En suite rooms in the University Village at £98.21 per week
Standard Single Ziggurat (Suffolk Terrace) at £88.06 per week
Standard Single City (Mary Chapman Court) at £68.04 per week

Graduating Students

If you are graduating this July and need to stay in Norwich from the end of the semester until your ceremony we can offer accommodation for this purpose. All graduation bookings will end on Sunday 21 July at the end of graduation week. This form is only suitable for students who need to stay in our accommodation for a minimum of three weeks leading up to the graduation ceremonies. If you only need a room for graduation week itself please contact Broadview Lodge on broadviewlodge@uea.ac.uk who are dealing with these shorter bookings.

Current UEA Postgraduates already in UEA residences on a 38 week licence 

If you are a current Postgraduate on a 38 week licence and now wish to extend your room until Sunday 1 September in line with the students on 50 week licences you can do so subject to availability. Please just indicate on the form that you wish to do this and we can extend your booking. We apologise but there is no way to extend your licence any later than this date as the rooms will be needed for new UEA entrants at this time.

Current UEA Postgraduates not currently in UEA residences

We can offer rooms to current UEA Postgraduates who need to stay in the summer to finish their studies. We can offer you a room on the same terms as the Postgraduates that we currently have in our accommodation with licences all ending on 1 September. We are sorry but there is no choice in end dates for Postgraduates and bookings cannot be extended past the 1 September as the rooms will be required for new UEA entrants at that time.
