A Homestay is an accommodation option, which is available exclusively to first year International (non-EU) Postgraduate students at the University of East Anglia. It provides students with the opportunity to live with a local family (called a host), while studying at the UEA.
Students who choose to live in Homestay accommodation will be provided with their own private study bedroom, breakfast every morning, full use of the bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities and internet access. They will also get the chance to live as part of the family and have an opportunity to experience a British way of life and improve their spoken English.
The cost of living in Homestay accommodation is currently £110.00 per week and the Homestay licence (contract period) is 50 weeks (16th September 2013 to 3rd September 2014).
If you are an International (non-EU) Postgraduate student, who will be starting a full-time Postgraduate course at the UEA in September 2013 and would like to find out more information about Homestay accommodation, please click here.
