UEA ranked in world top 150 for two subject areas
The University of East Anglia (UEA) has ranked 126 - 150 worldwide for both Social Sciences and Business & Economics in the 2018 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
“We’re delighted with these rankings,” said Vice-Chancellor Prof David Richardson. “It’s a reflection of the great effort put in by our teaching staff and students at a time when we’re facing increasing international competition, particularly from Asian universities.
“These rankings strengthen our worldwide reputation as a great place for students to study for degrees in these fields, building on our Gold award on the Teaching Excellence Framework and our consistent top-five position in the National Student Survey.”
For Business & Economics, UEA scored particularly highly for International outlook (13th) which focuses on international collaboration and the ratio of international students and staff to domestic populations, with Social Sciences strongest in citation impact (research influence) (38th), and international outlook (31st).Tweet
