In 2012 our department used 163,000 paper cups. They all went to landfill. To produce these cups, it took over 14,000 square metres of forestation. We thought that was just criminal so we introduced 'Keep Cups'. Re-usable, durable and lightweight they cost just £6 and you get your first hot drink free! Everytime you reuse the Keep Cup there's a cool 15p discount.
Currently we have sold over 4,000 Keep Cups and have halved our disposable cup use!
